About Us
Ron and Rhonda Haynes are missionaries to Bolivia and other parts of South America. Ron and Rhonda have both ministered in various ways. Ron holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible from Lee College in Cleveland, Tennessee, and an Associates of Arts in Bible from Tomlinson College, also in Cleveland. Ron further obtained a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and practiced public interest law representing the poor in civil litigation for more than twelve years. Rhonda Haynes received her call to the mission field at the age of eight. Rhonda obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Covenant College in 2001. Together, Ron and Rhonda have six children. Sam, the youngest serves with them in Bolivia.
In 2008 they began selling all their belongings in preparation to move to Bolivia. Currently they are ministering to the Aymara people of the Altiplano, outside La Paz, Bolivia. The people are spread out over four hundred miles, two and a half miles above sea level, dwelling in small villages worshipping "pachamama" or mother earth primarily. Ron and his family bring them the truth of redemption and reconciliation with God through faith in Jesus Christ, teaching the Aymara people the Word of God and raising up leaders to lead their own people and make more disciples.
